Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium

Carey LaMothe studied French Horn at the University of Washington where she earned two Bachelors degrees in music performance. At Opus Music, Carey also teaches private instrumental lessons on trumpet, trombone and euphonium. Carey has performed with several orchestras and chamber groups. Some of these include, Orchestra Seattle, Lake Union Civic Orchestra, Pacific Northwest Chamber Ensemble, and a principal position in the University Symphony Orchestra. She also performed with Everett Symphony on their 2001 Italian tour. After relocating from Seattle to Los Angeles she began touring and performing with the renown group String Theory (www.stringtheoryproductions.com). Recent performances include the Culver City Chamber Orchestra and USC Horn Ensemble.
